Thank you for your interest in donating to or sponsoring the Polo Club of UW-Madison! Our club is funded by player dues, fundraising, donations and sponsorships. We receive no funding from UW-Madison and your contributions go directly towards supporting our team and ponies. We couldn't do this without you!
Donate
We take all types of donations including but not limited to: horses, tack, supplies, equipment, and funds. Donations can be made privately or publicly. We accept donations of any amount, and these funds go directly to the care of our horses and upkeep of our program. If you wish to receive any compensation for a monetary donation please see our sponsorship options below.
Equipment and merchandise being donated can be either new or used.
Horses being donated must meet the following requirements:
At least 2 board members must ride the prospective horse in order to determine its suitability to a majority of the members of this club.
The horse must pass a basic vet check.
Pass appraisal for the owner to receive a tax deduction for their donation.
Those above forms must be accepted by the Department of Recreational Sports.
